Intention 03:47
I wanna know that I’m still on your mind I wanna grow the love that we’ve designed But your affection comes in waves All the lows are hard to take You’re running from me I wanna feel secure when you’re with me You gotta show me more than what you’re giving I need truth, respect and trust When will you invest in us? All or nothing Boy if you love me Better pay attention Read my cues, read my signs You ain’t got to read my mind Boy if you love me Love me with intention Make me sure that you’re worth my time Love me with intention It’s like your heart is stuck in outer space As if your love for me has been misplaced But when you come back down to earth You give me all that I deserve And I get caught up I wish I could tell myself to let you go And find someone more dependable But baby nothing can compare To the connection that we share I can’t give that up Boy if you love me Better pay attention Read my cues, read my signs You ain’t got to read my mind Boy if you love me Love me with intention Make me sure that you’re worth my time Love me with intention When did we get so complicated? I miss the days when I was wanted and appreciated I’m trying to talk, you tune me out Tell me how to turn this train around Is it too late? You might grow up and learn to listen I’m always wishing you would follow through As I give my all to you But I’m been too forgiving with you baby Won’t waste another minute on a maybe Boy do you love me? ‘Cause you won't pay attention I give you cues, give you signs Am I even on your mind? Gotta show me that you love me with intention ‘Cause I know you ain’t worth my time If you can’t love me with intention You don’t wanna lose a girl like me Though I’m holding on to our history This is your last call boy Let me know if you’re worth my time Can you love me with intention?

Whenever you leave, it’s like winter I watch us wither All I wanna be is your evergreen girl And give you every part of me I’ve been watering our roots You planted the seed But then decided to keep me waiting If we’re only gonna bloom At your convenience I can see that You ain’t nothing but a seasonal lover Like sunshine and snow You come and you go Wish I could say that Imma leave you for another But what can I do? I’m rooted to you You ain’t nothing but a seasonal lover A seasonal lover, lover And it’s putting me into this cycle This downward spiral As the days get longer, I crave you stronger The thought of you follows me I’ve been watering my roots Self love and care But it’s a helpless affair baby Guess I’m only gonna bloom At your convenience Now I see that You ain’t nothing but a seasonal lover Like sunshine and snow You come and you go Wish I could say that Imma leave you for another But what can I do? I’m rooted to you You ain’t nothing but a seasonal lover A seasonal lover, lover A seasonal lover You ain’t nothing but a Temporary high Rare occasions Holidays that I keep chasing Chances are, you’ll leave me dry Still I roll the dice And roll with the tides 'Cause I can’t blame you No one can take too much of me at one time So next time you call I’mma let you be my seasonal lover My sunshine and snow No I can’t let you go 'Cause only you can bring this beautiful thunder I wait for the storm ‘Cause your rain keeps me warm I can’t grow without my seasonal lover My sunshine and snow You can come and go I'll cross my fingers for your spring and summer It’s all I can do I’m rooted to you You ain’t nothing but a

I’m no acrobat But you’ve got me tumbling for you Got no safety net All I have is something to lose 'Cause we don’t make sense I'm loving you at your expense But I’m too weak to leave just yet Could you make it easy? Say the wrong thing Blame it all on me Let me walk away before I’m in too deep Say the wrong thing Drop a bomb on me All you gotta do to set me free is Say ay ay ay Say the wrong thi i i ing Oh, say ay ay ay Say the wrong thi i i ing Let’s go up in flames Call me names, I’ll play along You can make a scene I’ll make believe I’m better off 'Cause I’m terrified A love like this would run you dry But nothing’s gonna change my mind So could you make it easy? Say the wrong thing Blame it all on me Let me walk away before I’m in too deep Say the wrong thing Drop a bomb on me All you gotta do to set me free is Say ay ay ay Say the wrong thi i i ing Oh, say ay ay ay Say the wrong thi i i ing No no no no Can’t get too close ‘Cause if you feed the fire then I’m bound to explode Baby I’m sure I’ve been here before It’s just a matter of time before you Say the wrong thing Blame it all on me Let me walk away before I’m in too deep Say the wrong thing Drop a bomb on me All you gotta do to set me free is Say the wrong thing Blame it all on me Let me walk away before I’m in too deep Say the wrong thing Drop a bomb on me All you gotta do to set me free is Say ay ay ay Say the wrong thi i i ing Oh, say ay ay ay Say the wrong thi i i ing Say the wrong thing

I bet you’re not as brilliant As I’ve built you up to be So I’d rather keep my distance Than unravel this fantasy Why waste my feelings on real interaction 'Cause I’m lucid dreaming whenever I pass ya 'Cause you’re the perfect distraction And I won’t let you faze me 'Cause you, you, you’re better as a daydream Whoa you, you, you’re better as a daydream If seeing’s believing, I’d rather be blind 'Cause chasing the real thing’s a waste of my time That’s why you, you You’ve probably got imperfections If I were to see up close But why pollute my perception And put you under a microscope Why waste my effort? I ain’t got the patience My love’s like a desert and you’re the oasis You’re just some concept I’m chasing And I can’t let you faze me 'Cause you, you, you’re better as a daydream Whoa you, you, you’re better as a daydream If seeing’s believing, I’d rather be blind 'Cause chasing the real thing’s a waste of my time That’s why you, you You look best from miles away I guess I’m afraid A daydream will hurt me less This is just self-defense 'Cause if I say hello I’m terrified of what I could find And I’d rather never know I’d rather never know you, yeah ('Cause you, you, you’re better as a daydream Whoa you, you, you’re better as a daydream) I don't wanna know If seeing’s believing, I’d rather be blind 'Cause chasing the real thing’s a waste of my time That’s why you, you

Conversational hips They won’t listen to the mind that’s talking Confrontational tricks But they won’t take the “no” you’re offering Whether you’re calloused and cool Or play by their rules It’s nothing but a one-way-street 'Cause if you’re flirty and free They won’t choose to see The person behind the body They’ll blame it on the black dress, black dress They’ll blame it on the high heels, red lips They’ll blame it on the fresh face, white lace They’ll blame it on you They say you should have said no And if you said it, should have worn it louder Why are you going out alone? They made your bed but now they call you the liar Whether you’re sober or not They’re calling the shots It’s nothing but a one-way-street And if your history speaks They won’t choose to see The person behind the body They’ll blame it on the black dress, black dress They’ll blame it on the high heels, red lips They’ll blame it on the fresh face, white lace They’ll blame it on you You and your black dress, black dress Ooh the black dress, black dress Let them take a walk in our heels See how it feels To be the person behind the body So go on wear your black dress, black dress Go on wear your high heels, red lips Or you can keep the fresh face, white lace 'Cause you’re not the fool Go on wear your black dress, black dress Go on wear those high heels, red lips Or you can keep that fresh face, white lace It’s all up to you

Did the color of our love change? Or just the lighting in the room? You don't feel like home anymore And I'm hoping I've spoken too soon You and I Grew intertwined Have we overgrown? What can I do? Half of me is you Just wanna know What happened to us? Who blew out the fire? We're going through the motions We used to be so golden And now I feel nothing How long have we been fading? And how much longer do we have? I can't stand to watch us decaying And it kills me to feel so detached You and I Used to feel right Now we've turned to stone What can I say I feel so betrayed Just gotta know What happened to us? Our love has expired We're going through the motions So passionately broken All for nothing Please, tell me that it's not too late Tell me that we haven't changed Promise me I'm overthinking as usual Please, travel with me back in time Let the spark reignite 'Cause baby I can't bury something so beautiful Please What happened to us? Who blew out the fire? We're going through the motions We used to be so golden And now I feel nothing What happened to us? Our love has expired We're going through the motions So passionately broken All for nothing

H.E.A.L. 03:11
Hollow, heavy, hopeless, she’s hungry for a home Empty empathy, her energy erodes Aching, anchored by anger, abandoned all alone Lifeless, she’s looking for light Have you ever seen such brilliance? A broken soul rebuilding Like a wave through the stillness The radiant glow of resilience Healing, healing, healing When it comes to healing Ain’t nobody do it like a woman Oh, healing, healing, healing When it comes to healing Ain’t nobody do it like a woman Here she goes, her own hero, hoping to be heard Enduring, emerging through the embers of the earth Adapting, reacting, asking all around for answers Listen, she is the light Have you ever seen such magic? An unexpected passion Look underneath the ashes Life born out of tragedy Healing, healing, healing When it comes to healing Ain’t nobody do it like a woman Oh, healing, healing, healing When it comes to healing Ain’t nobody do it like a woman Mind, body and soul Her future is her own You can take away her sunlight But a girl will always grow Healing, healing, healing When it comes to healing Ain’t nobody do it like a woman Oh, healing, healing, healing When it comes to healing Ain’t nobody do it like a woman

Up to Me 03:11
You were well-intentioned, genuine, authentic But then you went and flipped the switch I took the bait, you reeled me in Tried to redesign me to fit your needs Rewind me, wash rinse repeat Your puzzle piece You cut me up to feel complete So tell me (what’s it gonna take?) No matter how you try and frame me (Baby I don’t break) I’ll just have to leave you hanging I ain’t sayin’ I’m set in stone Heaven knows I've got room to grow But where I go, that’s up to me I’m higher than I’ve ever been Got no time for settling See if you can catch up to me Thought I knew you too well, so tried and true 'Til you felt entitled to a brighter view I met another side of you Did you really expect me to let this go And present me a pathetic show It’s getting old I just thought I’d let you know So tell me (what’s it gonna take?) No matter how you try and frame me (Baby I don’t break) I’ll just have to leave you hanging I ain’t sayin’ I’m set in stone Heaven knows I've got room to grow But where I go, that’s up to me I’m higher than I’ve ever been Got no time for settling See if you can catch up to me I’m reaching, I’m rising, I’m thriving See if you can catch up to me I’m moving, I’m growing, I’m glowing And baby that’s enough for me I’m reaching, I’m rising, I’m thriving See if you can catch up to me I’m moving, I’m growing, I’m glowing And baby that’s enough for me I ain’t sayin’ I’m set in stone Heaven knows I've got room to grow But where I go, that’s up to me I’m higher than I’ve ever been Got no time for settling See if you can catch up to me

Timeless 03:08
Half of a first impression A fraction of a second Can you catch my vibe? Or should I summarize for the sake of your attention? I’m all about the build-up, the long-run, thinking deep How can I compete When you want instant gratification And I’m a five course meal not meant for tasting I’m more complex than that You can’t slice me into bite sized pieces I’m not impressed by that So don’t turn the page so fast Maybe I’m a goddess in disguise Maybe I’m a genius on the rise I ain’t one dimensional Why be a trend when I could be timeless? Maybe I’m a brilliant work of art I’m everything at once and that’s my charm I ain’t one dimensional Why be a trend when I could be timeless? I could be timeless (whoa, whoa, whoa) Why be a trend when I could be timeless? I’ll be your mind’s magician Light up your tunnel vision I can show you all that you are Pick a card and prepare to be lifted I’m nothing that you can’t understand If you listen up, I could fix you up But you want instant gratification And if you want to know me, you’ll be patient I’m more complex than that You can’t slice me into bite sized pieces I’m not impressed by that So don’t turn the page so fast Maybe I’m a goddess in disguise Maybe I’m a genius on the rise I ain’t one dimensional Why be a trend when I could be timeless? Maybe I’m a brilliant work of art I’m everything at once and that’s my charm I ain’t one dimensional Why be a trend when I could be timeless? I could be timeless (whoa, whoa, whoa) Why be a trend when I could be timeless? Don’t blink, won’t you stay a little longer? In my truth there’s room to wander So take your time Don’t blink, I’m an unfamiliar flavor In a language made to savor Won’t you give me your time? Maybe I’m a goddess in disguise Maybe I’m a genius on the rise I ain’t one dimensional Why be a trend when I could be timeless? Maybe I’m a brilliant work of art I’m everything at once and that’s my charm I ain’t one dimensional Why be a trend when I could be timeless?

Fall in the city Amber-brown and grey Leaves and lovers settlin' down as winter makes its way I felt small in the city In a sea of foreign eyes But I found a pair that took me straight to urban paradise Is it passion? Fascination? ls it just too soon to tell? Captivated by the green light Gotta take it Blame it on the skyline Finds us at the right time Neon signs at midnight make us feel new Racing down the side street Chasing time at high speed City life, it drives me closer to you Walking together Fingers intertwined Feels so good to hear somebody's footsteps next to mine See our reflection In the window of the train You've got a way of moving me that I just can't explain Is it passion? Fascination? ls it just too soon to tell? Captivated by the green light Gotta take it Blame it on the skyline Finds us at the right time Neon signs at midnight make us feel new Racing down the side street Chasing time at high speed City life, it drives me closer to you Is it passion? Fascination? Is it just too soon to tell? Captivated by the green light And I just can't help myself But I get so high from the smoke-stained sky Speeding cars and traffic lanes And I can't believe I've found someone Who makes me feel the same Whoa, the same as the skyline At the right time Neon signs at midnight make us feel new Down the side street Chasing time at high speed City life, it drives me closer to you Blame it on the skyline Finds us at the right time Neon signs at midnight make us feel new Racing down the side street Chasing time at high speed City life, it drives me closer to you

about

2018 was a rough year for me, creatively. Music had become the source of my stress and insecurities, not the cure. I felt disengaged with the people around me and disconnected from my purpose. Since age seven, songwriting was the core of my identity, so to withdraw from it made me feel broken and useless. Through twelve uninspiring months, somehow these 10 songs were born, "reigniting" my passion for music and my hope for a creative future. I was able to explore writing with and for other voices, not confined to any one genre, and with a purpose - striving to connect with listeners and make them feel "reignited" - in their confidence, motivation, and courage, just as this album did for me.
